One of the biggest things on a pet owners mind when he or she is about to go on a trip is the care of their animals. The most important thing a dog must be quenched with is water. Without it, dehydration can occur. Over feeding is a problem with some pets. Owners leave food out all the time, and the animal eats as he/she pleases. This is a problem because the animal can become over weight, by over eating. Do not leave food out for your pet at all times. Depending on the breed and weight of your animal, feed it proportionally. Walking a dog is also very important. By doing so, you are not only keeping them healthier, but you are expanding their life. Just like people, a dog’s weight can be a major issue. If the dog is heavy, the life expectancy will obviously drop. Walking your dog will allow it to not just feel healthy, but look the part, as well. And, dogs love to get out of the house and explore, anyways!

Animals should be treated right. They have feelings, just like we do. If and when we take a pet sitting job, we should do it to it’s fullest. Feed and provide water properly, walk, play, and so on. Pet sitting is not only enjoyable to the animal, but it can be enjoyable to you, as well!
